BLANKET, COAT & LONG-JOHN DRIVE
St John the Divine Anglican Church will be conducting a Blanket, Coat and Longjohn Drive during the months of December, January and February. With the increasing numbers of people living on our streets, the need for blankets, coats and warm underwear is increasing. You are invited to drop off gently used blankets, coats and long underwear at 579 5th Street during the hours of 9am to 12 noon Monday through Friday. Donated items will be made available to people in need at our Blessings Boutique Free Store on Mondays and through other community outreach services.
Our Free Store is also in need of donations of small household items and gently used mens and ladies clothing. The Blessings Boutique has been in operation since January 2022 and is open on Mondays from 9am to 1 pm. The Boutique offers items free to all. Many community members drop in for coffee, fellowship and to browse through the racks and tables of free items. For further information please call 250-334-4331.
