Applies to Lay Leaders, those working with children or money and all who carry a key to the church

The new Policy is separate and distinct from Safe Church and will be presented at two sessions in the church after the service on Sunday, March 19 and March 26. Following each session, participants are required to sign a form acknowledging their understanding of and appreciation for the Policy content.    Here's the link to the new policy:

Rev. Marion and myself will be leading these workshops which shouldn't take longer than 1 hr (coffee and treats provided). We're asking if you could please read the document in advance and make note of any questions or feedback you have.  Here's a breakdown of how our time together will go:

  • Marion and I will go over the Respectful Conduct Policy together, highlighting some the key points
  • Answer questions you might have
  • Give you a chance to re-read the policy
  • Sign the A-2  Respectful Conduct Policy Acknowledgement for Lay Volunteers

Thanks for your attention to this important part of our shared ministry at St. John's
