Lutheran Church Annual Church PicnicSunday, July 6 Sunday, July 6 starting at noon. If the weather forecast is not favorable for July 6, the picnic will be rescheduled for July 13. If the forecast is not favorable, I hope to provide about 48 hrs advance notice of the date change. We supply the hamburgers (beef), hot dogs (pork/chicken blend) and all the fixings for those. In addition, we provide coffee, tea, sodas, water. The remaining food items are potluck, with hopefully a balance between salads (green, pasta, potato, etc) and deserts. If any of your members are planning on coming, we would require them to bring their own lawn/camp style chair and would appreciate a potluck food contribution. To ensure that the appropriate amount of hamburgers, hot dogs and tables are provided it would be necessary for anyone intending on joining us that day would confirm their attendance with myself at least a week in advance (by June 30) as extra tables and canopies need to be obtained from outside sources. Confirmation by email would be preferred (lmmadelung@shaw.ca), but if not possible, then by phone (250 334-0616). |

WITH GRATITUDE
We acknowledge with thanksgiving that we have gathered on the Unceded traditional territory of the K’òmoks First Nation. As a part of the Anglican Church of Canada, a church of Settlers and First Nations, we commit ourselves to a journey of truth and reconciliation between the Indigenous peoples of this land and the non-native peoples of Canada. |
