As a result of last Sunday's Annual Vestry meeting, we say goodbye to parish council members Fred McCaffrey and Bev Worbets (also our Synod Rep). Thank you so much for your service on council.

Exciting news. Due to the popularity of our weekly Wednesday chair yoga class our class size is bursting at the seams. Starting March 10 we will be adding an additional weekly class on Tuesdays same times 11:30am-12:15pm.
Still only $5 drop in fee per class.

Bible study 3:30pm Tuesdays over Zoom. Please contact Rev. Alastair for the Zoom link. 

The cleanup up is Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 9 am till noon. Remember to dress warmly......

Lenten Reflection with Rev. Bro Ciaran. In the church Saturday, March 14 from 2-4pm.

Celtic Evening Prayer is held the 3rd Sunday of the month at 4pm in the church.

Pledge Cards fordonations to the kitchen renovation can be placed in the offering plate.

“Donations of gently used mens and ladies clothing are needed for our Blessings Boutique. Donations can be dropped off at St John the Divine between 9am and noon Monday through Friday.”

-LUNCHBOX ITEMS: DRINK BOXES, GRANOLA BARS, PUDDING, FRUIT CUPS
-PASTA, KRAFT DINNER, MR. NOODLES
-SNACK ITEMS: POPCORN COOKIES, CRACKERS, CHIPS
-FLOUR, CANNED MILK

PLEASE ONLY NON-PERISABLE FOOD ITEMS.

The church now has the ability to accept Interac e-transfers!  E-transfers can be sent to the email address:  givings@sjtdcourtenay.ca

For donations, please include your envelope number if you have one.  

If you do not have an envelope number, please include your name and full mailing address, if you would like to receive a receipt at the end of the year for your donation.

If your donation is to be designated, please include this information also.  If there is no designation, the donation will go into general income.
