Processional Hymn  Praise to the Lord
Praise to the Lord, all of you, God’s servants.
Blessed be the name of our God now and ever.
From the rising up of the sun
May the Lord be praised,
Praise to the name of the Lord!

There is none like our God
In the heavens or on earth,
Who lifts the poor from the dust
Placing them with the mighty
Who stoops to raise the weak and low.
May the Lord be praised,
Praise to the name of the Lord!

Welcome & Acknowledgment of Land

Call to Worship:
God of all seasons, in your pattern of things there is a time for keeping and a time for losing; a time for building up and a time for pulling down. In this holy season of Lent,  as we journey to the cross, help us to discern in our lives what we must lay down and what we must take up; what we must end and what we must begin. Give us grace to lead a disciplined life, in glad faithfulness and with the joy which comes from a closer walk with Christ.  Amen (Seasons of the Spirit)

(We prepare our hearts for worship in silence)

Collect:  O God, our heavenly Father, who raised up your faithful servant Edward to be a bishop and pastor in your Church and to feed your flock: Give abundantly to all pastors the gifts of your Holy Spirit, that they may minister in your household as true servants of Christ and stewards of your divine mysteries; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
